Fish Flox - Ciprofloxacin are a powerful broad-spectrum antibiotic designed specifically to treat bacterial infections in fish. Utilizing ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antimicrobial agent, this product helps combat a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive bacterial infections. Fish Flox is ideal for maintaining the health of ornamental and aquarium fish, addressing issues such as fin rot, columnaris disease, septicemia, and other waterborne infections. Its targeted action ensures your aquatic pets thrive in a clean and healthy environment.
Dosage & Administration: dissolve one tablet (500 mg) per 20 gallons of water in a small amount of water prior to adding to a hospital tank. Immerse for one hour. Repeat every day for 5-7 days with daily water changes after each treatment. Aqua Cipro Forte chelates divalent cations water hardness (increase dose for marine Fix) and high divalent cations in diet. Its activity decreases with high pH (>6.9). It can be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending on the effective concentration at the target site.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Fish antibiotics are for aquarium use only. Intended for ornamental Fix and/or ornamental organisms, and not intended for use with Fix that are intended for human consumption.
Storage: Keep lid tightly fastened and store at controlled room temperature of 59°-86°F. (15°-30°C)
